Alpen-Adria-Universitaat Klagenfurt (University of
Klagenfurt) was founded in 1970 as a College of Educational Sciences.
Today the University´s structure is reflected by its two faculties: the
Faculty of Humanities, and the Faculty of Economics, Business
Administration and Informatics.
From the beginning Engineering Didactics was one of
the important subjects at the University of Klagenfurt and Univ.-Prof.
Adolf Melezinek has been well known for his researches on Engineering
Didactics and as founder of the so called „Klagenfurter Schule der
Ingenieurpädagogik“ all over Europe.
University has the
Department of Media and Communications and has the teaching experience
on implementation multimedia facilities in educational process.
University of
Klagenfurt has the experience of Tempus-project implementation and
management as the Contractor and the Grant-Holder (DIERUU, TREM,
MULTICEP).

Moscow Automobile and Road Construction Institute
(State Technical University) is one of the leaders in the field of
improvement of theory and practice of engineering education. Due to the
initiative of MADI(STU) Russian Monitoring Committee of International
Society for Engineering Pedagogic IGIP was established. In the
University the Center of Engineering Pedagogic, accredited by IGIP is
working together with Center of Innovations in Engineering Education. In
MADI(STU) large experience of international cooperation in the field of
education and academic mobility is accumulated due to the participation
in Tempus-projects of European Commission: DIERUU (2002-2004), TREM
(2004-2006), MULTICEP (2004-2007) in which MADI(STU) acted as the
Coordinator.

The Bauhaus University of Weimar today has 4
faculties: the faculty of civil engineering, the faculty of
architecture, the faculty of media, the faculty of art and design.
Especially in the last ten years the university has undergone a lot of
changes. One objective of these changes is to link media and technology.
The University does a lot in the field of computerized and multimedia
teaching including realization of tele-teaching in graduate and
post-graduate courses. Interdisciplinary multimedia tool “Mobility” in
the field of traffic and transportation developed in the University is
used at different Universities for teaching and training of engineer
students. Its Internet version has some hundred thousands of users
worldwide.

In
Kharkiv National
Automobile and Highway University perfect
conditions were created for developing educational multimedia resources
and its introduction into engineering training process. Today in the
University there is an educational portal containing full
informational, teaching and methodical materials provided by all chairs
of the University. Free access to this portal made the students
self-studying process on engineering disciplines more effective.
Since 2002 the University has been a participant of
TEMPUS–projects on Engineering pedagogic. The results of these projects
have been widely used in the academic programs at all faculties in the
University.

Tambov State Technical University is one of the
authoritative Universities of Russian Federation in the field of
perfection of engineering education. In the University Center of
Engineering Education is functioned. It has its own Center for New
Information Technologies and Problem Laboratory for Multimedia Means in
Education.
TSTU is a permanent partner of
TEMPUS-project concerning the perfection of engineering education:
DIERUU, TREM, MULTICEP.
